The DYRÍGO Lens
Look beyond the visible problem.
Organisations are systems. Structures, targets, rules, incentives, technology, handovers and constraints put pressure on people. People adapt — and those adaptations become the real way work gets done. Slowly a gap opens between the system as designed and the system as lived. Risk grows in that gap, and eventually value is lost. That is why DYRÍGO looks upstream, instead of treating the final visible symptom as the place to start.
The chain
SystemPressureBehaviourRiskLosing value
System
The structures, rules, targets, technology, responsibilities and dependencies shaping how work actually happens.
Pressure
What those conditions ask of people in practice: deadlines, targets, budgets, conflicting priorities, handovers and constraints.
Behaviour
How people adapt: shortcuts, workarounds, local fixes, delays, silence, escalation or informal coordination. Usually a sensible answer to the situation — not an individual failure.
Risk
The growing gap between how the system is supposed to work and how it actually works. Customer, operational, governance and value risks start here.
Losing value
The downstream consequence: friction, lost time, lost trust, missed opportunity, lost customers — and eventually visible financial loss. Value is often lost long before the money shows it.
Not “Who failed?”
When something goes wrong, the usual first question is who made the mistake. DYRÍGO starts somewhere else. We ask what conditions made the behaviour we see logical — or even necessary — for the people involved.
Then we ask what remains unseen: what the dashboards, reports and process steps do not show. And finally, where an intervention would actually change the outcome, instead of just treating the latest symptom.
